Product Introduction
Cyclone is a device that introduces dusty gas into a conical structure to remove particles by centrifugal force and gravity. In the past, the dust collection efficiency of cyclones was considered low, but fluid dynamic design has improved performance to effectively remove particles of 5~20μm by 90~98%. Cyclones are mainly used as a preprocessing device for large and heavy dust but are sometimes used alone.
Key Features
-
Using the principle of centrifugal force and gravity settling
- Removes dust using the principle of cyclone's centrifugal force and gravity settling.
- Removes dust structurally, so there is no decrease in suction power due to filter clogging.
- More effective for operations that generate large and heavy dust such as wood dust and metal dust.
- Simple structure with fewer malfunctions, easy maintenance, and good performance for the price.
- Relatively low pressure loss and stable operation over long periods.
- Not greatly affected by the high temperature of the incoming dusty gas.
Key Design Factors
-
- The higher the dust collection efficiency, the higher the pressure loss, which increases the electricity cost, so the design considers the airflow and inlet speed.
- The efficiency of dust collectors is low for fine particles, so it is necessary to understand the size and characteristics of the particulate material to be treated.
Applications
-
- Processes that generate particulate materials such as grinding, polishing, fibers, kettles, melting, reflection furnaces, rotary furnaces, minerals, wood, cement, plastics, food, feed, grain, milling, fertilizer, etc.
- Preprocessing devices such as filter dust collectors
